BumpMap example without canvas

Hey everybody i just wanna start to implement bump mapping function in my project but i think i have to work abit on the three.js bumpmap example 'cause its gonna use the canvas instead that dom as many other examples.

This is the bumpmap example offered in threejs.org: BUMPMAP

So, does anyone worked already about that?
